Rachel Roy Ready To Wear Spring/Summer 2014

I’d say I often find Rachel Roy’s lines to be an acquired taste.

The 39 year old American designer is infamous for dressing the whose who of hollywood but her pieces are easily adaptable for the everyday woman.  She interned at Jay-Z’s Rocawear before launching her own line Rachel Roy New York in 2005.  In 2009, the former Mrs Damon Dash, launched a more affordable line called RACHEL Rachel Roy.  From Michelle Obama to Jennifer Garner, work to evening wear, Rachel has a knack for mixing patterns and opposites to form garments that will last you a lifetime. She’s definitely growing on me. I’m a jacket collector and that jacket is fire!
