Last night’s met gala was so much fun to watch and watching with my 6yo made it even better because over the years she’s grown so much into my fashion reviews that we’re on the same wavelength 😉

I loved the concept behind the theme of Camp and my favourite looks not only showed out but also put thought into their looks which, made me love them even more.

Take Lena Waithe for example, whose suit included the lyrics from I’m coming out and whose buttons were the faces of iconic gay figures and hip hop artists (the designer’s suit had these). And of course there was the inscription: Black Drag Queens Invented Camp. BOOM!!
