Here comes Binx (Walton)

For some reason I’d convinced myself that (Leona) Binx Walton was British.  So I was pretty suprised when I learnt she was American and from Tennessee.

I’ve been struck by her androgynous look that allows her to chameleon her way through different runway shows.

Like her unique name,  I saw her standing out like she always does in the Marc Jacobs FW 13 show, the Alexander McQueen McQ Pre-Fall 2014 show and dominating recently during the S/S 14 collections.

The 17 year old continues to coast with bookings during NYFW with Prabal Gurung, Proenza Schuler, Victoria Beckham and Diane Von Furstenberg. And it looks like she’s just getting started.

Binx appears to be a fun loving free spirit who enjoys her work and doesn’t take herself too seriously.  If anything, this will carry her through a busy but exciting career to the top. Bravo Binx!
