Self care is the theme of my second time around mommyhood
I wrote this post two months ago. But like a lot of things I’ve been doing lately, I procrastinated positing it. Not sure why…I guess I thought I’d have more to add later. And I do. I’m going to keep the original intro though coz it had a nice ring to it 😉 so bear with me.
Next Friday will mark 5 months since I became a mom for the second time, 5 years after doing it the first time.
And the winner for BEST DRESSED at the MET GALA is…
You already know (and agree I hope)…
RIHANNA!!!!!! (*in Oprah’s voice)
So last night’s theme saw the collaboration of fashion and religion (Catholicism) and boy were there some looks!
Kaela Kay’s 2017 Fall Collection encourages us to embrace our royalty
A few weekends ago I received a VIP(!!) invite to attend Kaela Kay’s fall collection and I could NOT say no.
Tracee Ellis Ross is collaborating with JCPenny and I am beside myself!
Have I ever mentioned how much I loooove Tracee Ellis Ross? I could do an ode to her if I had the time and brain power to form coherent sentences about said love but I don’t think it would do her justice. She is JOY personified. I want to be her when I grow up-in every sense of the word.
The Best of New York Fashion Week (NYFW) Spring/Summer 2018
I’m late, I know, with my fashion week recaps but I’m here now!!
And the award for Best Dressed at the 2017 Emmy Awards goes to…
Leslie Jones! I just love love love how Christian Siriano came through (again)for Leslie, I can’t even explain it.
There were some really stunning looks last night and I did a collabo with my 5yo which was hilarious because she made comments like “she doesn’t look that pretty” or a firm “NO” to some. But for the most part we agreed on many of these 🙂
Have a looksie and let me know what you think.
